Vortex Diamondback Review
A Midwest Flyways Review
At Midwest Flyways we are committed to providing an in depth look at any type of product our fellow duck hunters might be using. We have looked at calls, gear, decoys, and lots of other things. Yet, as many serious hunters know, one of the most important parts of being a duck hunter is scouting. And when we scout we rely on our trucks getting us where we need to go, our riding buddies, and most importantly our binoculars.
We wanted to review some binoculars that we felt were a great middle of the road pair and we ended up with the Vortex Diamondbacks. We chose these binos because of some of the really great things we were hearing about Vortex. Not only do they make and stand behind some awesome products, but they acknowledge our military, provide amazing customer service, and stay involved in hunting awareness across the country.
Here are some pros and cons to the Vortex Diamondbacks:
PROS:
- Affordable (only $230 or so)
- Awesome design (extremely comfortable to hold and use)
- Fantastic Clarity
- Glare reduction
- VIP Warranty (lifetime warranty)
CONS:
- slightly underperformed in low light
As you can see, our pros list is extremely long and we couldn’t really come up with much for a con here. Our only con is really just us being extremely picky and is hardly noticeable unless you are looking through some very expensive glass to compare.
Why Buy?
The best part of buying vortex products is their VIP warranty. They will replace or fix any damaged functionality of their products regardless of how the damage happened as long as it wasn’t deliberate. UNREAL.
Conclusion
We would have no hesitation buying Vortex Products again, including these extremely affordable Diamondbacks.
